BALL 2006 - 'Bad Taste'

Our ‘Bad Taste Ball’ in January 2006 was great fun & a huge success! We raised £2000 & everyone had a fantastic time!

We would like to say thank you to these people who have helped us with the event (sorry if I’ve missed anyone out!) …Drayton Manor Park – for a great night, DJ Gary Brittle – for fantastic ‘bad taste’ music, Lucy & Lee Parker – who do so much for Poppy Fields, ASDA Tamworth – who never stop raising money for our fund, Stephen Lees – for donating a beautiful ‘Poppy’ painting, John & Jane Emmett & The Barston Association, Michelle & Larysa for singing at the ball, Sally Wright & Lombard – for donating a huge TV/DVD player, Caroline Newman & ITV – for great prizes, The Perfume Shack (http://www.theperfumeshack.co.uk/home).

Finally to Steve Darlaston who dressed as ‘The Only Gay in the Village’ wearing a gorgeous blue PVC outfit to our ball, despite having to remain sober due to parental duties, as a dare to raise even more money for our fund!!!

THANK YOU!
